The lifestyle brand founded by artist-meets-alchemist duo Adrina Drina and Elliot Coon are known for their distinct brand of Mezcal, made in Oaxaca and distilled with Damiana. The Mexican herb is known for its elevating, healing properties and has become a key ingredient to their medicinal drink of choice. The third piece to their puzzle is Jody Levy, co-founder of the sustainable beverage company WTRMLN WTR and featured in our second newsletter. Together they bring a unique bar experience to the Further Future you won't soon forget.
The Vendor Village at Further Future will house first-class chefs highlighting a variety of cuisines and cooking styles to stimulate taste buds. This special gourmet experience would not be possible without fresh, local, organic foods for chefs to turn into magical edible creations. Meet Kerry Clasby, the woman in charge of our organic endeavors.
After attending The French Cooking School in Boston, Kerry managed and implemented the strategic growth of California's first Community Supported Agriculture program. Building upon her naturalistic approach to food, she started an heirloom tomato farm and foraged wild mushrooms in the winter. This was the beginning of her commitment to intuitively source the best produce and artisan goods from small family farms, eventually placing her as one of top foragers in the country according to Time Magazine.
As the founder of Intuitive Forager, Kerry sources all organic produce for celebrity chefs in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, including all Mario Batali and Wolfgang Puck's restaurants. In addition, she hosts the downtown 3rd Street and Downtown Summerlin Farmers' Markets in Las Vegas. Kerry will bring beautiful organic fruits and vegetables to the Vendor Village and work with the out-of-town chefs to source their ingredients for the pop-up dinners, creating a truly "farm-to-table" experience.
